MONEY INCENTIVE

The issues about money are never ending; from how to earn it, save it, make it work for you and to not becoming money crazed.
But wait…
How important is money in our lives?
Is it really our number one motivator?
Is it possible to do something just for the fun of it or because you have the passion?
Well of late, a lot of people betone on the fact their main reason for doing what they do is not money.
Others also make us aware that, the jobs they do are difficult despite public belief and therefore deserve the payment they receive e.g. bloggers, YouTubers, Instagram celebrities and so on.
I am not sure but...
Is all this necessary? Do we really have to talk about money all the time? Are we not giving it too much power than it already has?
Undoubtedly, in this day and age, money can get you countless things and even take you places.
Despite that thought in mind, we still want free things (which are hardly ever truly free) and question the income of others as well as ourselves.
Why is it that, as long as it is not a 9a.m to 5p.m, five days in a week kind of job then you do not deserve to get money from it?
Why do people keep on saying you are working too much when you are paid little or you get so much money from this ‘easy’ job.
Some people genuinely do things since they have the urge for it or out of love but the moment it becomes the only thing he/she does meaning all of his/her resources are going into it then I personally believe that he/she deserve some sort of income, I mean you need to survive after all.
It should not be a problem that bloggers, YouTubers, social media celebrities & the like get to go places and as they are gifted things.
It should not be a concern that someone works for a non-governmental organization.
Just as being a virtual assistant does not mean your pay should not be as much as a normal personal assistant.

Comparing a theory (thinking) based occupation with a practical (manual) based occupation is wrong but the latter is unappreciated and therefore such a person cannot be wealthy. Where is that bizarre ideology from?
I learnt the hard way that nothing is easy in this world and therefore looking down on someone and what he/she does is not level-headed.
In any case…
Will it ever get to an era when an extremely rich or poor person is not questioned? When money is not attributed to success? When the motives of individuals are not probed?
I am not against money or desiring for it but patronizing someone because he/she is using something expensive, tagging someone as unsuccessful because he does not have much assets, degrading someone who is money driven and doubting someone who is not money driven does not make you a superior person.
These issues have made a lot of people very sceptical when it comes to portraying affluence. Someone might say he/she does not care about that but ponder over this for a minute.
Is it not the right of every one to be happy and comfortable? Why should someone’s money problem be of your concern when you are not directly affected by it? If it were you, how would you feel?
I just decided to write down my thoughts on this matter although all I have are unanswered questions. You can share your thoughts as well whether in support or against.

Thank You for Reading & All the Best!!!
I totally agree but I'll admit I sometimes think to myself that someone must be "mad" to spend a lot on something but honestly it's not my place to dictate how an outsider spends their money and that should be my daily reminder.
ReplyDeleteWe all do that but it should just be a passing thought not acting it out to make the person uncomfortable. He or she can obviously afford it and maybe it is not an everyday thing.
